    Ranger Z21 07 with 250 ProXS question

I have resorted to a 25 pitch Fury 4. With a tourney load is there a better prop out there for total performance? Currently (after reworked prop) running 67-68 with a tournament load at 5700-5800 RPMs. Open to thoughts, I have several props that I will likely trade or sell after this, most are 25-26P merc props.

Your running pretty good for that boat. What are your expectations as far as performance goes. Sounds like it’s pretty dialed in. Possibly a 3 blade will get you some better top end but I’m assuming you went with 4 blade due to holeshot with a tournament load ect...you may try a 24p 4 blade to give you another 100-200rpms

I don’t have a Z21 I have a 520VX with a 250 proxs. Fury 25p 3 blade runs real good on my boat when I’m light but doesn’t carry the load real good and it was at 3.5 under the pad. I’ve tried alot props and different engine hights to to date the best prop I’ve ever had for all around performance has been my 25p fury 4 blade. With turny load and heavy she comes out of the whole pretty flat and rpms spool up pretty good and it’ll do 71 fully loaded and 74 solo light load but my boat likes that fury 4 at 2 1/4 under pad with absolutely no blow out what so ever and still tons of power to power load unlike a trophy prop.
