2012 Mercury 225 Pro XS Oil

I bought a 2012 Nitro Z8 with a 225 pro xs and the guy was using the Quick Silver Premium Plus Synthetic Oil in the motor, not the DFI. Can I continue to use this beings the reservoir is full or do I need to switch to the DFI oil?

If you would, please take a moment to review the Announcements at the top of the Forum, and be sure to provide the REQUIRED Info (serial number) when posting. Thanks!

Premium Plus is a Synthetic BLEND.
