buying a 1989 champion 184 DC
Getting ready to buy a 1989 Champion 184 DC this coming weekend.
was wondering if anyone knew where I could find a owners manual for it?
also the aerator doesn't work in the live wells, does anyone know where I can buy the correct part and how hard it is to replace it?
this will be my first bass boat. Thank you.

Don't know about that model but I just replaced the aerator pump in my 210. Was a PITA. Had to pull all the batteries. That was the hardest part. The rest was pretty basic. Disconnect the wires, unscrew the fastener outside the hull, remove pump, clean mounting surface , mount new pump using proper sealer, reconnect hose and wires. My hose was still in good condition so I didn't have to replace it. I'm getting too old to do the bilge diving but for something not too technical I hate to pay to have it done.

Need an EMail address to send it to. If you're going to swap anything out in the bilge every thing comes out, batteries, oil tank then the sub floor comes out. Change all of them while you're down there. To make it easier, remove the battery compartment lid.

The aerator pump in my 1992 201 is a Johnson that can be bought off Amazon. I just bought a new one for my bilge pump that is 1000 GPH and it was about $45.
Bass Pro has them as well but they are more $$ than Amazon.
