    If there is a house on the water other than a retention pond for $300k in central Florida, you do not want to live in that neighborhood. Your car will end up tireless sitting on blocks.

    There are likely homes in that price range in parts of central Florida in that price range. Maybe around the Lake Wales area but likely not on a lake but more likely on a canal that could get you to a lake. I would just pick out a few areas and then look on Zillow. I'm looking to escape South Florida but still need to convince my wife. I guess the grass is always greener
