    live well valve for 184

I have a 93' 184 that the live well drain valve is leaking on. I haven't removed it yet but want to know if it can be rebuilt or what to replace it with. Thanks for any help in advance

My 93 had a Flow-Rite valve in it. If the housing is not cracked (leaking out the drain and not ito the bilge), they do make a repair kit --> https://store.flow-rite.com/livewell...kitma-060.html. If you need a valve replacement, it is a System 1 valve --> https://store.flow-rite.com/marine-c...-system-1.html. Unless your hoses have the Qwik-Loc connectors, be sure and order the barbed connection.

My 2000 181 had a TH marine valve but I switched to Flow Rite. Flow Rite is a better design in my opinion. Regardless of what is in there I would go with Flow Rite.

Also your tubing is probably old and may need to be cut out like mine did. Get the black tubing off of Flow Rite's store. The stuff is really easy to work with and wont kink. Hit it with a heat gun for a little if you have any trouble getting it to press onto a fitting and it will slide right on.

I'm restoring the bilge in my 90 184 and I used the system one valve from flowrite. It was exactly the same as original. My fittings were all barbed.
