    2010 150 Murcury optimax

Serial# lb804779 This motor starts and runs great. It has 1275 hrs on it. The only problem is when the sun shines and it is hot outside the fuel line loses it prime. I have changed the bulb and the fuel line to the motor. Thanks for any help.

Is the bulb exposed in the splashwell? If so, relocate it to the bilge.

Also check your anti-siphon valve. Note: Primer bulb should be pumped firm before EVERY engine start. Today's fuels vaporize at very low temps in the fuel line, and the engine's fuel pumps have a difficult time processing "vapor".
