I have NRX rods and several Conquests. If I could own only one spinning rod, it would be this one. Light, sensitive, and very versatile. I use it for Senkos, Neko rigs, shaky heads, small jigs, etc.

I just recently acquired a Conquest 782C MBR casting rod, rated medium wt./fast action and yesterday I caught my first fish with it. Tossing a 4" Senko t-rigged with a 1/8oz tungsten bullet weight, a 3lb'er hit like a freight train and I thought I was overmatched at the beginning but the fish got boated with nary a problem. And it was serious fun getting him/her to the boat with that stick.

I've got 4 of the Conquest 842S's. Love them and use them for everything, it's a versatile rod. I had 4 NRX 852S's prior to the Conquests and the Conquests don't feel as "hollow and brittle" as the NRX's did.

I have Stella FJ 3000's on them, an awesome combo!
