I've been off since Christmas & haven't been able to go at all. I know there have been some big bags being weighed in all winter from the reports i've heard of tournament results & guys just fishing too. I know a guy that works for my buddy that i fish with had just over 20 the other day with pics to prove it. 3 smallmouth & two nice largemouth.

My kid and I cought 8 smallies and 1 largemouth about 2 1/2 weeks ago. 3 of the smallmouth were keepers biggest was 3.88lbs and the smallest was 2.89. All of the other smallmouth were between 16 and 18 inches. Water temp was 44-46 degrees and we cought most of them on 9-12 foot crankbaits and 2 on a ned.

Threw a jerkbait quite a bit but didn't have any takers on it.

I drove over at burnside today. There were some floaters and some trash, but looked relatively runnable from what I could see
