What are the two holes forBy front right rod locker?

Hello all,

i just purchased a 1995 sprint 286 DC Pro Tournament and loving it! What are the two holes for in front of the drivers console by the rod locker? They look to be about 2 to 2-1/4 inches in diameter. Could these be to put the pedestals in? Holes are bigger diameter than pedestals.

I used to have a 1998 with the same holes and wondered myself why they're there.

Correct... To store your pedestal poles for the fishing seats...

I have a 91 Sprint 286 pro tournament and I have 2 holes on the passenger side close to the floor , wondering if same thing
