    Hook Sizing

    Hi,
I’m new to the world of pouring my own swimbait heads. I’m looking for a specific hook size/wire diameter.
In the attached photo is my current swimbait head dimensions. I’m looking for a hook with equal size (or close to) in both length and hook gap. The catch is I’m wanting this in a medium to light wire hook diameter. Maybe around (.040-.048”). So far the best possible match I’ve found is a Gamakatsu 114. I’m wondering if there’s a good website that lists hook dimensions/diameters so I can explore my options.

    Thanks in advance

I also answered you on TU

Looks like you need the 5/0... Buy both the 4/0 and 5/0 to try... They are cheap.

The Mustad 32724 runs about one size smaller than the same size 32886, I would go with the 5/0.
