I would get it from your boat manufacture unless they don't carry 240z carpet.

So you're saying BassCat carpet is made different from other Syntec carpet. I would think Syntec is Syntec. I wouldn't think it would be cost effective for Syntec to make a run of carpet just for BCB. Got mine from Ranger but got samples from BCB also, couldn't really see any difference. Like I said, Syntec is Syntec, regardless of the boat manufacturer.

Syntec is not Syntec unless the weights are the same. Ranger and BCB both did use 24 ounce carpet and only the backing is a little different it seems.

I was referring to the same weights. Can't see the weight being that much off, just my opinion. Don't know of anyone re-carpeting their boat weighing the carpet.

It is all the same. I’ve noticed backing qualities vary little by runs in production of batches etc. I’ve had some very malleable syntec from basscat and thicker stiffer backing from basscat. The same with Ranger. I will say I pay a lot less in freight and cost with Ranger. I really only buy it from basscat when there is no availability from Ranger.

I would also buy from Ranger. With the transition to white River marine bass pro I am not sure what freight will cost.
