    What is a NedMiki rig?

Saw Nedmiki rig for spotted bass and was wondering if anyone knows what this is?

It's just using a ned jig head instead of a damiki/mooneye jig head.

What's the advantage of one jig head over another???... I'm trying to learn how to fish the damiki rig vertically (video game style)... Dan

Not sure. I like my mooneyes over a ned head for that. Ive just seen where Brian Latimer uses what he calls the "nedmiki" on Hartwell. Id say personal preference. Or that hes a zman guy.

I don't know much about anything. But a mushroom head jig (ned head) has a different rate of fall than a moon eye. It also will hang slightly different. Mooneye jigs are typically aspirin type heads with eyes. Just going to be a different look. I use mushroom heads fairly often, though don't fish the ned rig all that often.
