Years ago we would trailer to Lake Baccarac Mexico-- Six hundred miles South of the Arizona border. Since I had some training I was the resident Dr. I still carry a well stocked EMT kit. If you didn't go prepared for mechanical problems you may get to sit on the bank at the best lake in the world.
I also carry a spare prop for both mtrs and have changed a few on the water. A water proof bag with insulated coveralls, sox, beanie cap, ski gloves, matches, can of sterno and some MRE's. Even at lake Amistad or Falcon in the winter you brake down with no phone service and you might get to spend the night in Mexico.
I have been in the water twice in the winter and used the dry clothes. looked a little strange fishing with all my wet stuff hanging everywhere.
