    DVX-20 Engine Choices

    Question for Sclark

Im exploring the engine rigging options for the DVX-20
    Leaning towards a 300 Verado V-8.
Question I have is it available with a hot foot (assume it is digital rigging)

And is there any issue running a hot foot with the pneumatic seat bases..meaning in rough water is it hard to keep the throttle steady with the seat bouncing up and down. I would probly run the seat base a little firm anyways.

Im switching from a bassboat and have always run a hot foot. So would prefer to continue to run one.

I ordered a dvx22 a few weeks ago and I believe there was a foot throttle option.

    Congratulations and thanks for reply.

Still weighing the pro's and con's but in rough water Ive always liked being able to keep both hands on the wheel and instant throttle control with my foot. Driving my brothers walleye boat with hand throttle is always a challenge for me

Sorry Guys , just seen this post, my apologies for missing it ..

if i remember correctly the Verado's have an electric foot throttle. (No Cables)
this is available on any Verado engine ..

The Air Ride seat do not pose much different pedal feel than non air ride, you will be supposed how much your body/legs compensate, it is pretty natural.
