Going to Chickamauga in march for fun bass fishing, any info on what to throw & where would be appreciated.

Highly dependent on weather. I’d start with a trap and fish shallow.

You'll have to wait until about a week before you go to even begin to have an idea. It could be 45 degrees with a full pull of muddy fast water or it could be 75 degrees and winter pool

It was all on the trap and A rig shallow in the mud this week and last. 49 degree water, 3/4 oz crawdad red trap and the a rig with small zoom minnows. run and gun and hit all the cuts and you might get lucky. Reel that bait in steady to create a mud trail for the bass to follow.

Oh it does, but this time of year TN river bass will push bait up from a little deeper water on shallow mud flats and cuts. They'll lay on them when it's sunny too to get warm.
