Anybody going to the Columbus Fishing Expo this weekend? I am going to try to go one day but just don't know if we can fit it in or not this weekend.

Same company that does this show will be in Cincinnati February 28th hopefully it’s pretty good because that butler county show sucked.

Yes it is the same promotion company putting on both shows. I will have a booth at the Cincinnati Fishing Expo. The speaker lineup looks good for the Cincy show. I'm hoping to get to talk with Larry Nixon there.

I might roll to the Columbus show solo. Wife says the dUKe / UNC game is on at 6pm and she is NOT going to miss it!

Well... It wasn't a bad show.... Not overly impressive but worth going to.. I admit I'm not driving two hours tomorrow to go again - saw everything today in 4hrs.. I did get to spend 20 min with the Garmin rep figuring out a new Garmin setup to potentially replace my Lowrance units and talked to a couple of Canadian outfits about finding a new camp to take the family to.

Bought raffle tickets from each college team to help support them and spoke with two young men representing a community bass club for high schoolers - gave them my info as a boat captain. Nice boys - said they have tough time finding enough boat captains for their tournaments..

Lots of custom bait guys there - we all have our " go to" baits and lure companies - none that I really use where there.

Sure beats going to work !

Wife and I went there on Saturday. It was much bigger than I thought it would be. Talked with B.Lat and Fatcat Newton both good people to talk with. Fatcat even shot a video with me about our crankbaits that he put in his story on Instagram. Last I picked up a Aftco Reaper hoodie for $55 from Fishermans Central.
