Cranking battery from Sams

Thanks, I was concerned I would have to replace the tray like I had to for my trolling motor batteries which were originally 27's going to the 31's which I had to do last year.
My original cranking battery tray fit the 31 with no problem.
Now I have 3 31's and shouldn't have to mess with batteries for a few years.
But darn they are heavy.

That SOB is HEAVY!! Haven't seen anyone report issues with this battery having an Opti. I hope not cuzz I got one to replace a Deka.

Great thread here. And good timing. I'm also looking for new batteries, both starting and trolling motor. I have Interstates in there now (want to get rid of them bad) and am seriously considering the Duracell 31 AGM from Sam's Club. I have a 2013 Ranger Z520C with Merc Optimax 250. My question is in regards to the standard four bank charger that came from Ranger. Will it charge the AGM's correctly or will I need to upgrade that also? I, too, have had issues the past couple of years where I had to use the jump switch after using live well, power poles, etc. during a regular tournament day. Thank you in advance for any comments!!!!

Check the website for charger. I have a DeltaVolt and says it's OK for AGMs. I know the M-K charger has a selector switch for different batteries.
