    Bravo 1 duplicate

Can anyone recommend an alternate or duplicate to a Bravo 1 XS 26" ? Maybe a little more durable and a little less $$ would be nice too.

You might consider Marks Razor4 XL.... Great alternative.

Honestly, I didn't realize the Bravo 1's weren't durable? What motor are you looking to run it on?

Powertech BRV 4 is one. Signature SL 4 is another.

Do these match pitch for pitch with the Bravo? ie.. is a 26" Bravo going to be a 26" Powertech BRV 4?

Is the BRV 4 patterned after a Bravo 1 or a Bravo 1XS? ... I’m pretty sure the Bravo 1 and the Bravo 1XS don’t match pitch for pitch. Pretty sure the XS runs a pitch or 2 lighter than the regular Bravo 1

Not true... The Bravo1's are only cast in even pitch's between 20-36P The odd pitch's just have extra cup in the tips acting like a taller pitch... So a 25P Bravo1 XS is a 24P with tall cup.

So besides being available in odd pitches, is the only difference the FS and XS have PVS holes and the regular Bravo doesn’t?

The FS and XS have some of the flared barrel trimmed off to offer more bow lift for nose heavy bass boats. The regular B1 has a full flare. I like the full flare on my boat better, But my boat is lighter than most in its size class.

So what design do you get with the Powertech BRV4, Signature SL4 etc??? The shorter barrel or the longer barrel?

You need to call Powertech. They will explain the options to you.

The Solas Propellers Rubex L4 is another Bravo1 replacement as well.

I spoke to both Powertech and Hill yesterday, both are similar to the original B1 with the long tube. The BRV 4 comes with 4 PVS holes standard, the Signature SL 4 does not but they will add them if you ask.
I am thinking I need the shorter barrel to help with bow lift on my Z21.

marks razor will not be pitch for pitch, bravos are short on pitch ,marks are heavy on pitch, at 500$ marks are a good choice
