Alright i have the gold metal rub rail on my 2200 and it is pretty ugly. Its also starting to separate from the top cap in the back by the motor. 1st question is has anyone put a new rub rail on that was not he metal one? 2nd question is if not replaceable how do i remove the existing one and reseal it? Do i just clean and reinstall using larger rivets?
I watched a couple rub rails being installed at factory years ago and unlike other boats the metal rub rails I watched them install were installed by screws not rivets.
Check Taco Marine they used to have the ones that looked like the Gs....we got one a few years ago for a customer. If you have screws just reinstall with new hardware and 4200.. if it’s rivets, drill out carefully and try not to enlarge the hole and I still use some 4200. If you have to use a larger one, of course do so. When complete seal around the entire bottom.

Correct, it was around 6 yrs ago, and they delivered it to a buddy in Ft. Myers who brought it back to Canada for me.
I believe this is the same as on Gamblers but not sure if they have it in the gold colour.
