    Bass question



    What is her top lip red for? Anyone know? What are they munching on to cause that?

    Yesterday was my first trip out in a couple weeks. Can't remember seeing it the trip before. Kept loading up thinking about fishing. But wasn't getting out.

    I think I read something years agao that said they'll do that when eating off the bottom. Crawfish etc.

    Thanks Shef, that is what I am thinking too...but wasn't sure about crawfish being prevalent down here in Central / South Florida.

    In researching this, a lot of people seem to believe this is cold water related.

    Good to know! As a kid growing up near Houston...crawdad mounds were EVERYWHERE....there was no doubt that they were there...but since I've been here, I haven't seen much evidence of them.
