Got out on the boat this weekend

Nashua River is wide open at the moment...but maybe not worthwhile. There's a public boat launch in the Millyard office park parking lot that's clear, so went out yesterday for the morning and didn't catch a damn thing. But hey, I got out on my boat in February so that's a win. I would have headed for the cape if I had time but had a birthday party I had to get my son to. Open water season isn't that far off now...

As soon as the weather cooperates again, that's the plan. This weekend doesn't look good unfortunately, and won't be able to get out next weekend either.

I've lost my desire for it to be honest. Drive 2.5 hours to a decent mountain, pay $80 for a lift ticket, wait in line for half my day just to get on the lift, drive home with all those other morons on 93... it's just not worth it. It would be one thing if lift tickets weren't so insanely expensive. But paying a ton to just be surrounded by people? I'm good. I'll start going again when I can bring the boys with me. Only having Sundays to fish OR snowboard sucks. Everywhere is packed and the drive home is abysmal.
