    Skeeter ss90 restore or not?

I got the boat for free with clean titles. Just weighing my options to put time and work in or sell and fine a complete boat. I do have a trolling motor and recess pan.

If it's not waterlogged I would think it would be worth fixing. You would be looking at wet sanding, carpet, seats etc, etc. If it needs floor, transom, stringers etc, then I would say no. Just my opinion.

Free is good! But agree with JJ, only if it ain't water logged. If not water damaged, you're basically starting from zero. Easier to plan out and work finances. Good luck and let us know how its going.

First boat I ever had was a SS90. It was a neat little boat and fished good for its size. If the hull is sounds and you can get an engine that runs. It shouldn't take much to fix it up. Just remember you don't have it make it look brand new to be able to fish from it.

I would fix it up. With the prices you see these days, why not put that money into a boat that will probably outlast you if fixed up right.

It's in way better shape than the ones I start out with. Do it.

Fix it...someone did the hard work of removing the carpet for you already!

I'd try a little wet sanding to see if the shine will come back. Doesn't have to be perfect.
