Unemployment: The population of the United States is almost ten times that of Canada. In the past week Canada has had just short of 1,000,000 claims for unemployment insurance. The numbers are going to be staggering when they come in.

Well Boeing sure is looking good again today.
remember my tone of the lounge post. Looking at the lounge today and type of posts, does anybody really think two days ago was the bottom?

One guy called yesterday a dead cat bounce....
We haven't saw the bottom yet. Might see it after unemployment numbers post.
Definitely not buying until it drops again other than adding more Alphabet which is still down.
I don't know if this is a DCB, it might have just hit his head on a ledge

I am on the sidelines right now and not letting yesterday and todays increase sway me to jump back in. Very concerned on unemployment numbers. Also think 1Q earnings will take a hit. While the stimulus will help, until businesses are back it is still too risky of an environment for me.

Anyone buying the red today?
Not enough red for me. Going to wait till beginning of April to see where we are.

Gonna wait this one out a bit longer. Next couple weeks will be rough.
I am not much on buying right now...still playing a few sub $5 stocks, but just nibbling. I still do not think we have seen the worst of it yet.
What we cannot obtain from intelligence, we can learn from experience.
Agreed. I'm also playing penny stocks, but doing nothing on big boards yet. If you penny guys haven't looked at playing KNOS, it's an interesting one. It's been coming up about 50% most mornings in a stretch of about 30 minutes and then selling back off to black, almost like dilution. Risky, but it is fun to play.
Interesting that we're going up right now...... ha
With the market the way it has been the past few days, it sure looks like we hit a bottom. I know we haven't though. The market has recovered a lot better than I thought it would at this time. Do you buys see a quick selloff on the unemployment reports and then a quick recovery if COVID stays the way it is right now?
