    type of gas

Is it worth flashing a 250. Do you have to go 93 octane. I am running 87 runs good.at this time. And what other changes do you hafe to make.

Good question... You should be using 89 octane fuel in stock Unflashed 225-250 SHO. Thats information is in the owners manual. That being said I flashed my 250 SHO and am still using 89 octane and would be interested to know is there is anything to gain by going up to 93 Octane?

No other changes to make at all. Plug in play! I gained a solid 3 mph and better mid range punch on my Skeeter ZX 250 without changing a anything!

Interesting, I was told to run 91-93 octane after my flash. Been running it this way since 2015.

It would be interesting to know if there is an increase in performance going from 89 octane to 93?

This is anecdotal but I believe there is. My mid range seems stronger. Never seem to get a clean cut off on fuel in tHe tank when I tried to measure! Top end is always different day to day but seems to get there quicker on 93. JMHO

My local choices on non ethy gas are 87 or 93. I’ve run nothing but 93 thru mine due to that. No issues from it I’ve seen. 89 is minimum per the manual.
