James at Bullet is a GREAT GUY, like I previously said, mine was over for some warranty work, and he fixed a few things for me I didn't even ask about, I had a long gouge in the hull that I didn't know about, he found it and fixed it, he told me about it when I picked it up

Smokey mountain boat repair in vonore tn 423-884-6974!
And did this boat come from northeast ky by chance?
James Childress is the guy at Bullet who does their warranty repairs and does private repairs on the side. Someone hit my 21xrs trailer in the ramp lot and bent the fender. Loaded the boat and put a big scratch down the side from scraping the wrinkled fender. Took it to James and he repaired it so well you can not tell it. He also got a new fender from Boatmate and fixed the trailer. Highly recommend him. PM me if interested. I have his number in my phone. Will most definitely go back if needed again.

that's the same guy who did my warranty work and fixed a few things I didn't know about, He's the Best!!!!
I had Paul Rutherford repair a boat for me in Huntington Wv and he did an excellent job with flake.
So you own the wrecked boat. I've been wondering where it ended up at. Red did not do the repair, it was a former employee who worked there for years. That boat was wrecked when brand new, there's more repair than just that area. I'd take it to Kevin Bryant at Smokey Mountain Boat Repair, about an hour SW of Knoxville if you just don't want Red to do it. I don't think the man who did the repair is doing it any longer, he had a Very serious personal situation happen a few years back.
Alright, spill the beans BULLETRM and Chad2002rxd... Dan
James did mine last summer
Long story short it had a 300xs with a TM2 case when it left the dealer with the new owner. First trip out it hit some rocks. I don't know if it was because of blowout or driver error. I try to keep Track of the wrecked/damaged hulls.
Others may disagree, but I'd NEVER recommend a 300 without a sporty.
The wreck was because of a broken steering line fitting . The guy driving the boat was a very experienced driver he just lost steering and went straight into the rocks on a narrow area of the lakes headwaters. I personally towed the passengers and the boat to the dock and was the first boat on the crash scene. I think it actually had a sporty on it when it was wrecked but I could be wrong. I do remember as Chad stated it had alot of damage down one side , more than the area in the picture.
Thanks guys... Dan
Cool whip who sold you the boat?
