Anyone have a lake that just kicks your @$$

Anyone else have a lake in the state that just kicks you in the nuts and then proceeds to spit in your face just to rub it in a little? Brushy Creek has been a royal pain in my ass ever since I moved closer to it 2 years. I've never had a lake that I leave the lake pissed off but Brushy does that constantly. I find myself fishing the same areas that all of the local sticks fish but I can never seem to find them out. I don't know what it is but I just flat out suck at brushy

I felt that way for about two years with the lake I live next too. So much so I had written the lake off and would stop going when I had a day to fish.

There was a period of time where I was getting some pretty consistent free afternoons and due to time I went to that lake very consistently. I started to figure out little subtleties and in a couple months time it became unusual for me to leave that lake without having caught a 15+ lb bag and commonly a 20+ lb bag...

Then just as I had figured out my honey hole, they drained!

    Loved Cunningham.

Fish a jig and the walleyes beat the bass to it. Those are not catch and release .

Icaria, I can’t find the bass on Icaria. Beautiful lake, just can’t get on them

Seems like its Wehrspahn for me. Used to be my favorite but theres not much structure in there anymore and I'm lost. I can usually find the dinks and I can get into some good ones every so often but not near what I used to. I've changed to fishing the ledges etc and still don't do much. Pretty much gave up and go elsewhere now. Stop in there when I only have an hour or 2 to fish since its right across the street from the house
