    how long do the battery last in minnkota remote
    and do they cost much.

    Which remote? ipilot or ipilot link? Is it Bluetooth or the older version. All have different batteries. ipilot link is rechargeable. Bob

    I don't know that they offer a replacement for the Bluetooth version like I have but I can say I use it exclusively and it lasts all day plus I fish a lot - going on my third year with it

    only issue is the charging cord my pop out when charging after a year or so not giving you a full charge

    My ipilot battery lasts years but ......it kept going blank and I replaced it.
    Kept doing it but I found banging it would bring it back to life.
    Then I took the battery cover off and put something under the contact. Never a problem now.

    I have IPLink, Remote Battery lasts several trips before having to charge, months is not a stretch (fish once a week), cost is around $300 I think.
