    205 vs 215

Ok I’m getting close to pulling the trigger on a Falcon. I’ve climbed around a 205 at a dealer and I’ve also looked over Mr. Latimer’s boat which is the 205 TE. I haven’t seen a 215 in person or heard as much about them. Please educate me. Thanks!

215 is 1’ longer, narrower in the nose, 2 lids in middle of front deck, slightly softer ride, 1-1.5 mph slower than 205. That’s it.

After speaking with you Craig with what you will be doing with the boat I think the difference between the two will be your choice on suffering slightly on the top end or enjoying a slightly better ride. If you plan on fishing the big lake more Id tell you to go after the 210. If you plan on staying inland and needing that river speed then definitely stick with the 205. I have ran tourneys and have passed 21' boats in 2's and 3's with no problem. Definitely up too you. If you go 210 your only getting a bigger sturdier boat so you wouldnt go wrong. Thats for sure!

I have not seen or been on a 205, I have a 215. To ME, the most important different thing was the long swept nose. I know it is slower, damn it, but it LOOKS better than the stubby Ranger lookin nose on the 205. That and I like the 2 center boxes.
