    Ghost vs. Ultrex weight

    Has anyone figured out if there is a weight difference on the nose of the boat between the Ultrex and Ghost. I have heard there was, but if you look at the shipping weights, they are pretty much the same.

    Yes, Russell Marine Products has a video on the weights. I don’t recall the exact difference, but it was something like 6-8lbs.

    Correct and Ghost was lighter

    I ran my puma with 250 with no trolling motor no bracket just a bare nose only 1-1.5 mph faster . Not much difference to really matter .

    I think the Ghost was 7 lbs lighter.

    Let’s you carry 7 more lbs of plastics. But seriously, my boat definitely does not have as much lift after adding my new TM, the added weight of these motors does make a little difference on some hulls.
