    225 Pro XS cooling issues

    New to me 2017 225 Pro XS Ser#2B401568 new pump impellar was installed when I picked it up ran on muffs good pressure(unable to get on water due to weather). Finally got out today ran fine good pressure but temp.not coming up didn't run long came home pulled thermostats found small debris holding them open. Reinstalled put on hose now not pumping water not telltale out back of engine and no water pressure, temp coming up. Pulled pump looked good still no water. Is there something I may have messed up while pulling thermostats? I understand there is a strainer for compressor, if that is clogged will it stop water from telltale?
