Elite Ti to HDS Gen 3

Thinking about trading my elite ti for a hds gen 3. Would this be much of an upgrade performance wise? Or would going to a carbon be even better?

No. Lowrance has a range of units like most other brands:
Hook2 (soon to be replaced by Hook Reveal)
Elite Ti2 (will probably run another year)
HDS Live

HDS Carbon is the generation before todays HDS Live. Differences between HDS Carbon and HDS Live:
