Did you not click on that link? That is the 20-21 regs. I don’t understand why so many people are skeptical of the DNR’s OWN SITE.

So according to that, still can’t have tournaments on regulated size restrictions lakes.

plenty of other good lakes in WI..most of the trophy lakes are low population density lakes with TROPHY class fish and fragile ecosystems..no need to diminish those great fisheries with tournaments

Some may be low population lakes, but some are doing quite well and could sustain small club tournaments. The rule still needed tournaments to be applied for and permits could’ve been rejected for larger clubs or sensitive lakes.

The way I've seen small clubs treat fish I'd have them stay off too!! Unless its a paper tournament of MLF style tournament.

Sounds like bunch of walleye guys on this board. Might as well ban all tournaments in Wisconsin.

Far from a walleye guy...probably done more for bass tournament fishing in this state than the majority on this site. There should be a standard for fish care, and release which doesn't include walking them across a parking lot while thumbing them with no bag, releasing smallies on the west end of Pewaukee off the dock in the dead of summer, transporting smallies up to the dam on Oconomowoc Lake in the summer and releasing them at the launch, walking fish across a parking lot without a bag and dropping them in the gravel....just to name a few.
