80/112 Ultrex Mounts

Just purchased a new boat. It has an 80 lb. Ultrex installed as purchased. I have a 112 Ultrex that I am going to replace the 80 with.

Can I leave the 80 lb. mount on the new boat and just swap out the motors?

I see no difference other than potentially different gas cylinders.

Save a lot of work.

Just the gas piston is different if the shaft lengths are the same.

I just replaced the piston on my 80# with the 112# one to offset the weight of the 360.

Did it help a lot ?? I was looking doing that to mine since I have an extra transducer and Hydrowave speaker. How much was it and where did you order it from ?

Have not used the motor since I made the change.
