Swap tandem Sabre 18 trailer for single axle.Gauging interest.

Found a 2006 18 Sabre for sale that I like, but it has a silver tandem axle trailer I can't use. Anybody with a good 18 Sabre single axle trailer would care to swap? I'm in Louisiana.

Curious why you can’t use the tandem. No way I would trade my tandem for a single.

I have a single axle that was built in 2015 for an original hull Eyra, which was 17' 11". Even has a swing away tongue. Dark gray with blue fenders. The main thing would be to have a welder refit the bunks due to the shape of the Sabre hull compared to the older Eyra.
As much as I would be open to say, swap straight up, one question would be the location of the tandem. So you are looking at buying the Sabre, salt/brackish water can take a toll on the trailer.
    But good luck!

I have to shove it to one side of the garage.

Have you looked into Go Jacks? I use them, since I have a similar situation. It allows me to move my boat in any direction in the garage to maximize space and location. Just a thought and I hope you find what you’re looking for!

Try raising the front trailer jack all the way as high as it goes. It will hopefully raise the front 2 tires just off the ground, you can then push and position your trailer in the garage by hand. It works on PII. I angle my tandem axle tailer in my garage this way.

I appreciate the ideas, guys. Fortunately, I get to fish often. Anything but a single axle is going to be a hassle.

I have to turn my boat diagonal to store it and its on a tandem. It really isn't that bad, I lay a big tarp under the trailer. A buddy has the HF jacks and that makes a huge difference.
Currently boatless but will always drive a Bass Cat

I fairly often see guys with single axles looking for tandems....finding someone shouldn't be too difficult. If you use Facebook I would also post this on the Bass Cat Owners Group. Lots of traffic there.
