    Extra battery in a ZX200

I’m planning to replace the two 7” Lowrance units on my 2017 ZX200 with two Garmin 12” units on a stand alone battery. Any ZX200 owners running 4 batteries with a Minn Kota MK460PC 4 bank charger? Any issues getting it all in the battery compartment?

I have 5 batteries in my ZX250, 3 for TM and 2 for engine and electronics wired in parallel.
The 5th battery in in the compartment next to to the live well on the drivers side.

Ok thanks. Just recently purchased the boat so not sure if the 250 and 200 have the same size compartments. At first glance I believe I should be able to get 4. Trying to get it upgraded before Spring. Thanks again.

The battery will fit but the added 70lbs in the transom is what worries me..

The only problem I had was jumpers. Two trolling motor batteries on the starboard side, one on port.

Need about 5' jumpers to make the 36 volts.

If you pull off the back deck cover(s), it's easy. There are 4 screwx that hold the back deck down on each side of hatch. T20 in a new boat.

And the overall weight added to the boat. My 2018 ZX200 with the Duracell AGM battery and two 29 series interstates and all the other stuff is pretty heavy!

I wouldn't worry about the added weight. I ran a 2002 ZX200 with a 2.6 liter 200 HPDI until last year. Always ran 4 batteries. Maybe I lost a mile an hour, maybe not. A battery is about the weight of 10 gallons of gas. I noticed 400 lbs of gas when both tanks were full. Add another 200 - 300 for full live wells and that little Yammer got doggie. The battery don't matter. The 112 is worth it when you need it.
