    Ultrex MDI xducer on 898

    Will my 898 with DI & SI work with the Ultrex MDI built in xducer
    Just want 2D and DI don't care about SI on the bow

    The MDI 2D frequency is CHIRP 140-240 kHz. If you output 83 kHz to it, that may burn it up, short out and damage the unit.

    Your 898 does not have Down Imaging to use the 455/800/1200 Down Imaging piezo. It gets Down Imaging views by blending the two SI pulses.
