My uncle’s place is just about 6-7 miles south of Des Arc where the Wattensaw Bayou runs under the road. Paradise. I spent the first couple years of my life down on the Bayou Meto south of Humphrey. Then my parents moved us north to Minnesota but my dad’s family is all still down there. We try to get back to visit as often as possible.
