    Boeing below $300?

    Looks like Boeing will go below $300, but the Max liability is huge.

    I've been watching that. Not good for Washington and many other parts of the country. Not surprised at the drop. Big management blunder.

    Sold a cash secured put on it at 312.50 expiring February 14. I am hoping it gets assigned but it bumped up to 314 today.

    When I saw it getting close to $300, you were who I thought about. I knew you were watching the stock.

    Not sure where it goes? Still climbing today at $317.

    I do not own any shares yet, but the drag of the losses from MAX, is scary. It is not open-ended like asbestos years ago, but airline losses, loss of sales revenue, operational losses of stopping production, etc. is pretty open-ended.

    Just paying for simulator training of all pilots, will be a large expense.

    At this point, BA is likely going to it's 2013 price of $75 in the next week. If it blows past that, then we're looking at $35 price from 2009.....

    Boeing stuck it's hand out too fast here. If it had laid low for a few more weeks, it could have probably gotten some government assistance without too much fanfare. Now it's gonna have a bad reputation to overcome as well....

    Not sure how much worst their reputation could get with planes falling out of the sky. And if they don't get help soon, they're going to go into bankruptcy.
