Mega 360 Heading Sensor

I almost ordered a new Humminbird heading sensor for my (hopefully soon arriving) Mega 360. I saw in a previous post that Wayne stated that you can use the Minn Kota I pilot heading sensor. Thanks Wayne.... you just saved me $200. I'm sure I'll have numeous set up questions after everything is installed!!

Wayne, is there a setting under the 360 or exactly where exactly do you select the heading source for the 360? I had the heading sensor temporarily mounted for my 360 but think now I’ll just use the pilot link heading sensor.

Think I found the thread discussing this, I’ll go check my Helix unit and figure it out.

Sweet... just checked and I have the I Pilot networked. Out of curiosity what is the "enhanced" setting it the Fixed column? Only 1 of my units is set to enchanced

There is no "setting" for Fixed or Enhanced. It is an indication of the quality of the satellite tracking.
