I took this pic with my iPhone last January on Lake Maumelle. I took the pic with my iPhone from a long distance so it is a little blurry but shows an elegant Bird.

If you fish certain lakes here it is a daily occurrence, beautiful animals.

Also one particular body of water you will see peregrine falcons every day all day long, they are thugs of the sky here.

They’ve been all over chickamauga lake for a couple years now too. I’ve mostly seen them around the hiwassee area every time I’ve been there. On the way to work last summer I watched one circling over the interstate at Percy Priest dam, haven’t seen it anymore yet but I know it’s still around. I just haven’t drove thru at his time to see him. It’s awesome to see them expanding out and the population growing.

We see so many around here anymore they seldom get a second look. I live 4 minutes from a small lake ,river fed there is a huge nest up river. Pretty neat to quietly go up and listen to them.

DSCN0719.JPG I was thrilled to capture this image. Tad blurry but pretty good shot of an eagle.

Bald Eagle 1.JPG This is the one I posted earlier. I saw him yesterday as well but didn't get a pic. He was with the one I got pics of.

Are female bald eagles the brown color? Or are they black and white? I think it might be a juvenile bald eagle. Experts weigh in.
