    .GPX Files on my MacBook

I have some GPX files that I snagged off of Google Earth and tried to bring them over to my HDS Carbon units. However, when I go to the Storage option on the Carbons, the SD card does not show up. Do I have to use a Microsoft based PC instead to write the files to the SD disk? Thank you very much!!

When you download your gpx files to you mac, are they in a zipped folder that you have to unzip before putting on the card?

I don't believe so. I got the waypoints from google Earth Pro and converted those files (.kml) with a website called gpsvisualizer.com, that generates a .gpx file. I then copied the .gpx file to a MicroSD card. Am I missing something here?

SD-card should be 32GB or less and formatted as FAT-32.

I had a similar problem once. Instead of transferring the gpx from visualiser, take the gpx,use GPS BABEL and transfer in V3 Lowrance .usr

If the SD-card doesn't show, then it is not a file problem. It is a disk problem.

Thank you for all your help! I got it working, apparently Lowrance don't like 128GB MicroSD cards, because the 16GB works just fine.
