    Cutout from old fish finder?

What do you guys use to cover the cutouts from old dash mounted fishfinders? I’ve got two hold that need to be covered. Thanks!

I cut out a diamond plate square, drilled four holes and mounted that over my hole. From there I made a metal bracket and screw that to the plate and mounted my duel Humminbirds.

If you just want to cover everything, street signs, like speed limits, are generally .125" aluminum.

You can buy textured sheets of abs plastic in different thicknesses and sizes.

You must have looked in my bilge and seen the plate (stop sign) that my Minnkota D330 charger is mounted to.

Here is a picture after I mounted my two Humminbirds but you can see the diamond plate if you look toward the bottom of the graphs.

I have also heard of guys using star board to replace old cut outs and just mounting the gimble brackets directly to it
