power pole foot switch

one of my foot switches by the trolling motor isn't as sensitive as the other. have to tap on it real hard to get down or up. Just started happening this year, 2 year old boat. anyone have this issue or a fix?

Sounds like possibly corrosion on the contacts, all DC circuits are susceptible to it

Take the switch apart and have a look. I have had a couple go bad over the years. A quick phone call to PP customer serice will take care of it. Thier responsivness to my issues in the past have been fantastic.
