Question about 2nd owner warranty.

If I buy a 2019 boat that is 10 months old do I get any warranties? Like what if the fenders are rubbing the tire like I’ve seen some post of. What if this is on a used boat I buy that is 10 months old. Will they fix it? Just curious.

The way I read it is the first year from original date of purchase is covered... there are no stipulations requiring you to be the original owner. The lifetime warranty on the hull, stringers and transom do require you to be the original owner. Remember that the motor and any electronics will come with their own warranties.

I am the 2nd owner of a 2016 Z21. I have defective carpet (Nitro admitted that to me) but the warranty does not coer it since I am the second owner according to Nitro. I also have seats with broke stitching. Once again, Nitro said the warranty did not cover it since I was the second owner.

If you have the Premium Protection Plan then they will cover it because that plan is transferrable to 2nd owner.

Ask about the premium protection plan. It covers certain things. I have it and have used it but it did not cover my carpet or seats.

it was a hypothetical question. The boat I’m getting is flawless but I’ve read other post that got me thinking, plus that was a severe factory problem that nitro imo should fix no questions asked.
