Wow, he's going to be running a 175 in the MLF? I imagine he's going to get torched on blast-off, seems like almost everyone else is running a 250.

Anyone wanna venture a guess as to what kind of speeds a 175 can push a tin hull?

He'll be ok - they don't race to spots in MLF. And there is no check in, so you have that also.

Yup. He will be fine. There is no blast off/racing to spots on the BPT. I surprised more Bass Pro Tour guys are forced by their sponsors into either smaller 19ft glass boats with 200hp motors or aluminum rigs since there is no boat race to fishing spots or racing back to the weigh-in.

At least they put a 175 on it and didnt underpower it like most of them do with boats like this. Like to see numbers with that motor. Other than that besides a different console looks like a rebadged rt198p.

Keith was not forced to run a 19TXP, he wanted to run the new boat, feeling he could get into places that he could not with a 21TRX. So far I think he loves hos new boat.
