Do I need two GPS pucks?

Putting together an order where I will have a Solix on the bow and console, an Ethernet switch box, and will be integrating my Ultrex DI w/Link. Ive got one gps puck in my order but wonder if there is benefit to having one on each end of the boat? Also, do the antennas connect directly to the switch or to the units? Thanks in advance for your response!

You can use the iPilot LINK for GPS and Heading so that takes care of the bow installation. That is an Ethernet connection.

You can use either the AS GRP or AS GPS HS at the transom for the console unit so GPS and depth data is at the same place. The AS GRP is all that is needed.
Those antennas connect directly to the display via a AS GPS NMEA cable.
