    93sv+ and LS with Lithium?

Anyone try running a Lithium Battery to power a 93sv+ and Livescope?

I have a 12ah Milwaukee drill battery I may try.

Why not? Saw on FB where some of the ice fishing guys did a set up with those type of batteries.

I run lithium during winter with my PS-22 and hundreds of guys running livescope for ice fishing as well, you'll be fine.

I run my 106SV on a 30Ah LI battery I bought from Amped Outdoors (at the recommendation of some folks on here). I am really happy with that batter so far (about 5 all day trips).

What is the voltage of the Milwaukee battery? I assume that it is 18V. I am not sure what the max voltage is for a 93SV but I would double check on that before proceeding. I know that I have seen it somewhere but I can't seem to find it right now.

The 12ah Milwaukee is 18v. The adapter reduces the voltage (I think to 12v.

Input voltage from 9 to 18 Vdc from Garmin site. When I used the Milwaukee battery I was going to step it down until I found the specs.
You should check the specs on what ever you use to convert it to 12 volts to make sure it can handle the amp draw of your system

The same topic was discussed here and thehulltruth.com one year ago.

18V Li batteries can have a max voltage around 20 or 21v, which is fine for Echomap series. Been using this way more than one year!

I was going to do this with mine, but decided it was just easier to run a lithium 12v battery.

3 cell lithium rc batteries work great for powering fishing electronics when not on the boat as the top out at 12.6 volts but you do have to make sure you dont drain them to far
