You don't have seals because they don't come with them, because the way it's designed you don't need seals. The deck has a built in channel which drains water to the aft end of the compartment and there is a drain hole there.

The carpet on your lids should wrap around the lid lips and up inside the lids. That carpet is what "seals" down onto the bottom and sides of the built it ridges around the compartments.
