Which could mean two things. They're being generous and want to offer a deal, or they want to move existing stock in anticipation of a new unit.
That's my thoughts also when i saw it.....we shall see when February gets here and then see it they introduce anything at the Classic in March.

Yeah thats all the stuff I was reading as well. I wont need livescope until this summer really so I can wait and see on the release here in February, if there is one.

In the electronics game there is always an update or new model coming. Whats new today was in someones hands 6 months ago and outdated when it hits the market.

What kind of speculation you guys got on what improvements we'll see?
Wider angle? 360 style? just an improvement of clarity?
Will it still be compatible with EchoMap+?
Was just talking to my dealer yesterday about adding LiveScope in a few weeks but I'll probably at least wait until the rebate.

Theres one or 2 guys on here that know for sure and they are tight lipped
I wont speculate, but I can tell you I would want a 360* livescope system! Only a few weeks and we may find out. Have been debating a swap to birds from Lowrance to run both livescope and 360, but Garmin may ruin that for humminbird haha.

99.999% sure that it will not be compatible with the Echomap+ units.Will it still be compatible with EchoMap+?
Just like the original Panoptix with the Chirp units when Livescope came out.
No inside info if or what is coming down the pipe, just a strong feeling since I have two Plus units now.
Who knows, I may be surprised.
Hoping for an upgraded realvu 3d. The one on the PS30 is ok, but pretty slow and clunky to use.
Might be why they are changing all the units
