Humminbird Updates

So I'm almost a year into owning a Humminbird that's able to receive software/bug fix updates. My question is, just how often does Humminbird roll out these software/bug fixes? Quarterly, annually or just whenever they feel like it? Surely the IT department has to be in better working order than Customer Service? Thanks guys, any input is much appreciated!

I think they release updates when they need to, no set schedule. They just released an update a few weeks back.

My Solix units are performing the best they ever have. I'm going to ignore any updates until they happen to include new features I really want, after the beta testers here have confirmed all is well.
